14054 Click for more photos | 1800 Draped bust 10c Dime. This is the rarer of the two-known die marriages of the 1800 Draped Bust Dime, attributable by wide A's in the reverse legend and a sharp spine (as struck) from the upper-right corner of the shield. (Both varieties of the issue share the same obverse.) Attractive even natural grey tone, obverse surface lightly marked but no other problems. Possibly the coin was lost in sandy soil as the light marks appears to be 'grit' marks from being walked on. Graded PCGS 'XF detail - damage'. KM-3. Still a most presentable example of a Very Rare Coin (P) | AVAILABLE at A$3000 |
