Graded PCGS 'AU 53', with only minor planchet irregularities, that often occur on this type, well struck & attractive. Only very small numbers struck in 1792-1793, with those dated 1793 being actually minted after the execution of the king(!!!), as coins were urgently needed while new design needed approval & time to make new dies. An iconic rarity of French Revolutionary coinage. (P)
