21825 Click for more photos | 1914 Mons Star Trio to Royal Engineers. 1914 Star with silver rosette to ribbon (in Lieu of 'Mons' bar). All three Impressed officially: '24727 Dvr. H. Cropper, RE'. Henry Cropper, 57th Field Coy, Royal Engineers. Entered French Theatre of Ops 16 Aug 1914. The 57th Fld Coy were initially attached to the 3rd division in France from Aug 1914-Apr 1915 where they gained the Battle Honours 'Mons', 'Le Cateau', 'The Marne', 'The Aisne' & 'La Bassee'.
