Albert King born Sussex 1880, educated Harrow, enl South African Constabulary Jan 1901, disch 1904, staying in South Africa. Commissioned Captain with 2nd Transvaal Scottish Regt, served in German South West Africa. To UK & Commissioned into 2nd Bn, Royal Scots Fusiliers. MC, per Lond Gaz 1/1/1919. Later returned to South Africa & became Member of the Legislative Council, a plantation owner in the Tanganyika Territory. Court mounted for display, with early brooch pin bar. aEF.
