Group comes with a photocopy of a newspaper article, with photo of Cook holding his medals (as offered here). In this article he states he was aboard HMS 'Prince George' at Jutland, 31 May 1916. As 'Prince George' took no part in the Jutland Battle (being paid off at Chatham Dockyard after her Gallipoli Service & Remaining there in subsidiary roles), this is difficult to reconcile. Swing mounted as worn on original ribbons. gVF. With copies of service papers & internet research. An interesting story & worthy of further research. | AVAILABLE at A$300 |
