William Carroll Flick, born Singleton, NSW, either 1873, 1886 or 1887 dependent on which of his enlistment forms one believes!! Enl AIF & to AAMC 23/6/15, to Egypt 14/10/15, to UK 2/8/16, RtA & disch 15/8/17, enl AMF Sydney 23/6/41, 7th Garrison BN to 22 Gar BN, disch 6/4/1944. Flick was a tram driver on enl in 1915 & tramway employee in 1941. Together with his orig WWI. aluminium ID tag, ribbon bar, '1/AMC' bronze titles, orig colour patches for 7 Garrison BN & generic Garr B'ns & somewhat inexplicably, a lump of molten copper in a custom made needlepoint cover - evidently the remains of some treasured heirloom? gVF/gEF.
