20993 Click to enlarge photo | Pocket Knives, British Military pattern (5) dating from ca1930-77. Military knives inc 2x chequered black handled examples with marlin spikes. These were introduced in ca1939. One is dated 1948, the other has no markings visible. Two further knives are Australian all metal knives of which one is WWII (Whitingslowe) & the other issued in 1977. The last is an unmarked fibre handle variant (probably war-time) but has the knife broken off. The civilian knives inc a handsome bone handled knife made by Richard Mehlvish Ltd Sheffield. It is a good size & has two blades & a copper bail. Made post 1906 so probably 1920s or 30s. Nice. The other two knives inc an unusual bone handled knife by Wingfield & Co Sheffield (blade is heavily worn down) & a simple all metal knife with no maker name. Some wear/minor damage.
