Pre-1914 'Dunkelbleu' tunic of a Signaller Non-Commissioned Officer, red faced collar & 'Brandenburg' cuffs with broad gold wire tress. 'Tombac' gilded brass buttons, white shoulder straps bearing red 'Russia' braid numerals '73' & 3rd Company buttons. Large Rank Buttons to collar. Complete with its original 'GIBRALTAR' cuff title to right cuff & embroidered crossed signals flags patch to mid-right arm. Comes comp with black leather waist belt with bi-metal Prussian belt plate & with a dark blue, faced & piped red, enlisted man's field cap ('Pork-pie') of good quality. The latter bearing a painted Reich Cockade & State Cockade (black/red = Wurttemberg). The Fusilier-Regt Feldmarschall Prinz Albrecht von Prussen (I Hannoversches) Nr.73 (Hannover) attached to X Army Korps were one of only a small number of Regiments entitled to wear the distinctive 'Gibraltar' cuff title.
