20928 Click for more photos | Imperial Bavaria 1914-18. Engineer Senior NCO. 'Peacetime' (ie. Leave) tunic. Field grey with black cuffs & stand collar, piped red, collar & cuffs with bullion rank lace, 7 plain white metal buttons to front (1 missing), 1 on each pocket flap & 2 to each cuff with 6 to the rear flaps (1 missing). Lined in green/brown sateen, on the chest, & original to tunic, is the court mounted group of 3 medals: Bavarian Military Merit Cross 3rd class with swords; Prussian 1914 Iron Cross 2nd class; Military Long Service medal for Bavarian enlisted ranks, 3rd class, silvered (9 years). 2 x buttons missing, moth to areas.
