Those who opted for RAAF or RAN NS were only considered if they volunteered to serve outside Australia. GC minor moth damage. Quite a rare naval uniform to the RANR (NS) which operated between 1951 & 1959. Navy dress jacket, double breasted complete with all QC buttons. Rank insignia to Petty Officer with 2 chevrons & technical trade propeller gilt badge over letter 'P'. May have had prior Army Service as Army gilt button sewn on sleeve below gilt trade badge.
