20877 Click for more photos | Army Cadet. An usual possibly 1940s blue/grey wool, two pocket patrol jacket. Most likely to a cadet Lance Corporal. School/unit unknown - Queensland? No tailor's label, although it is named to 'G. Stavel', Lance Corp. The jacket has an open lapel collar with gorget patches in dark blue with red/yellow centre colours. The shoulder boards are dark blue with red piping. The barrel cuffs are piped in a red 'V' There are 2 chest pockets. Made to take two belt hooks. Buttons are KC brass map of Australia (one missing). Lance Corp stripe in gold bullion on dark blue. Scattered mothing & wear overall. One bad 3 in tear to front/bottom. One gorget patch frayed. Needs restoration. Seam on right cuff needs re-doing.
