Army. WWII enlisted ranks khaki wool, 4 pocket service jacket. Pre 1943 (similar to WWI tunic in style) khaki wool. Has no buttons or insignia. Holes on collar for badges. Made 1940 by Whittaker Clothing PTY LTD, size 8. No soldier's name apparent. With pr of 1945 dated, unissued service dress trousers. Basically unworn, no mothing or damage apparent. Nice, worthy of restoration. Plus unusual Army WWII enlisted ranks khaki wool, 4 pocket service dress jacket. English made (Gov contract). Same style as WWI tunics but made from English khaki rough serge material. Never has insignia. All buttons removed. Made by John Hammond & Co (1922) Ltd. Marked 'Jackets, S.D. Australian M.F. Size 8' for wearer 5' 3" to 5' 4". A white painted code appears inside the jacket. Never issued or worn. Small size. Brand new condition, old original stock. One tiny moth bite. A most unusual WWII jacket from perhaps when the AIF was stationed in English. Not seen before. Worth restoring. (2)SOLD at A$200
