20783 Click for more photos | Army. Australian Field Artillery ceremonial blues wool 3/4 length parade jacket. LCPL chevron on R sleeve. Size 36'' chest. No tailor's tags or name tag. Large KEVII brass buttons, 9 to front, 8 to back, red felt collar with yellow cord trim. Yellow cord scrolls to cuffs. Epaulettes with 2x 15 AFA brass shoulder titles & 2x small KEVII buttons. Red piping to epaulettes front/rear. 15 AFA was raised in 1912 in Launceston from existing AFA units. No moth damage visible. Freshly dry cleaned with a pair of later dress trousers. Around 15cm of liner seam needs re-sewing, minor fraying to base edge of jacket o/w GC. Pre WWI period NCO's parade blues jacket in GC, possible Launceston AFA connection c1912. (2) | SOLD at A$325 |
