Leather sweat band marked 'real roan leather' & with faint owner's name in ink ('Jack Holsworth'?). Herringbone-twill black cotton chin strap. Correct 1914-18 vintage tally in bullion on black cotton/silk ribbon: 'H.M.S Victory'. (HMS Victory was the Royal Navy Barracks at Portsmouth, a land-based training establishment).
