Postcard size professional portrait of a young rating wearing a "Donald Duck" style cap and "Square rig" jacket. Tally band on the sailor's hat reads "HMAS CERBERUS." Germany: WW2 RARE 'FLIGHT OF EAGLES' A SPECTACULAR FRAMED ROBERT TAYLOR LIMITED EDITION PRINT. Signed by the artist and Luftwaffe General and Fighter Ace Adolf Galland. Features Me 109's of JG-26 climbing out the clouds over the Pas de Calais in 1941. Led by General Galland himself (then a Major), the Me 109's have just emerged from cloud cover to commence a defensive patrol over the sector. Superbly reproduced in vivid colour, this edition is one of only 1500 that were available world wide in 1985. Signed by the artist and Galland to the lower section on either side of the title. Professionally and tastefully framed in a blue- grey and gilt frame that doesn't detract from the subject matter. Outer frame measures approx. 71cm by 58cm and the print 52cm by 38cm (including the title and border). Certificate of authenticity to the reverse. No damage or wear apparent. Grade I-

USA: WW2 SPECTACULAR LIMITED EDITION PRINT "ACE OF DIAMONDS" FEATURING P-51 MUSTANGS ESCORTING B-17 BOMBERS OVER EUROPE IN LATE 1944. Artwork by Nicolas Trudgian 2003. Careful attention to detail, couple with realistic colours have enabled the artist to faithfully reproduce the central to the scene is the P-51D Mustangs of Donald J Straight and his wingman, Clinton Burdick, of the 356th Fighter Group. Print shows numerous B-17s and their escort fighters and also some German Fw190 fighters that have intercepted the raiders. Below the scene is the original signatures of Maj Gen Donald Strait, Capt Clinton Burdick Lt Col Charles Beck and also the artist, Nicolas Trudgian. Outer frame measures approx 100cm by 71cm and the print approx 74cm by 47cm. Professionally and tastefully framed in such a way as to not detract from the dramatic scene, unfolding above the clouds.
