Griffith born 16/2/1911, educated Dulwich College 1923-29, to RA as 2/Lieut 1941, Lt 1942, T/Capt 1943; Substantive Capt & Temp Major 1944, retired 1946, MBE vide Lond Gaz 13/12/45; MID 29/11/45; CdG with star 1/12/45.
