1881 SONS OF THE CIVIL WAR VETERAN'S MEDAL. A bronze, circular medal with protruding ends of crossed cannons and a perched eagle to the top. Intertwined "VS" to the centre with wording to inner circumference "GRATIA DEI SERVATUS". Bronze, rectangular brooch pin with wording to it's obverse field "FILII VETERANORUM". Ribbon badly frayed.
