WW1 EIGHT PLACE RIBBON BAR FOR AN AUSTRIAN SOLDIER. First 3 ribbons are of the same design and are most probably and are most probably the Cross of Merit, Signum Laudis (1890), Franz Joseph Cross of Merit (Or the Austrian Medal for Bravery) and then the Karl Truppen Kreuz (1916), Hindenburg Honor Cross with Swords (1914-18), War Commemorative Medal with swords (1914-1918), Wurttemberg Order of Military Merit and the Austro-Hungarian War Medal with Swords (1914-18). Rare to see such a substantial ribbon bar. Would ideally suit a Third Reich era political leader of SA tunic. A handsome and scarce item. Ribbons are in nice condition retaining most of their colour. A few small isolated rust like stains that make little impact on display. Grade II-
