Imperial Prussian: CAVALRY BASKET HILT SWORD (DEGEN M-89) WITH FOLDING GUARD AND ETCHED BLADE. Black bakelite grip. Nickel plated voided guard with the Prussian eagle insignia. Straight spear point single fullered blade still in GC and has etching to both sides. The obverse having a blued section with silver wording, "Magdeburg Husaren Regiment No.10" and also has etched floral designs and a mounted hussar. The reverse side of the blade has etchedornate patterns, a horse's head and mounted hussars. Blade buffer pad present. Original black painted finish to the steel scabbard, (one hanger ring type) paint with only minor areas of wear. Sword guard and scabbard both engraved "Luhr, 2ES.63". A very nice example. Imperial Prussian: MODEL 1889 cavalry officer's sword. Black celluloid grip. Nickel-silver plated basket hilt with a folding guard which incorporates a finely detailed Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of Prussia. Inner, smaller guard also folds. Inside of knuckle bow stamped 'D.R.G.M. 246668'. Quillon engraved with owner's surname and regiment 'Luhr 2.Es 63' with the same details engraved below the scabbard throat. Straight, spear pointed blade with a wide, single fuller and elaborate etching to both sides. The obverse side of the blade features a mounted hussar, scroll and floral work and a blued panel with wording 'Magdeburg Husaren Regiment No 10' and the regiment's insignia. The reverse depicts a mounted hussar regiment, horse's head, scroll and floral work. Original black painted, dent free, steel scabbard now with some wear to the painted finish. Single hanger ring. A RARE IMPERIAL POLICE SIDEARM. Black celluloid grip with silver wire binding. Nickel-silver plated hilt fittings 'D' shaped guard with a down-swept quillion. Straight, spear pointed, double-edged blade with a central, single fuller. Knight's head logo to the obverse ricasso (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie). Etching to both sides of the blade depicting a floral pattern with an intertwining scroll which has the words 'In Treue Fest' (In firm loyalty). Black leather scabbard with nickel-silver plated fittings, few dents to the lower fittings, leather still in VGC. Blade length 58cms. O/a length 70.5cms. Licence required in Victoria. Grade II (P)

1889 PATTERN INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD. Black celluloid grip with silver wire binding and a brass Wilhelm II cipher to centre obverse. Nickel-silver plated hilt fittings now showing some wear. Fire-gilded gilding guard which incorporates the Coats of Arms of the Kingdom of Prussia. Leather finger loop present. Straight, spear pointed, double fullered blade in VGC. the ricasso stamped with the 'K' steel, dent free scabbard, originally painted black but has been period over painted in a field grey colour, this no with areas of wear revealing the underlying black paint. Possibly over painted for wear during WW1. Single hanger ring. Licence required in Victoria. Grade II- (P)

WW2 ARMY OFFICER'S/NCO'S DOVE HEAD SWORD MANUFACTURED BY FW HOLLER PATTERN NR 24. Black plastic wire bound grip. Brass hilt fittings heavily ornamented with oak leaves and acorns designs. Spread wing eagle with Swastika to the obverse langet. All originally with a gilt finish but now with areas of wear. Plated fullered blade with maker "FW Holler Solingen." Leather buffer pad present. Original black painted finish to the scabbard, showing light o/a wear. Single suspension mount. One small dent to the lower reverse of the scabbard. A nice unrestored example. REICHSMARINE/EARLY THIRD REICH PERIOD NAVAL OFFICER'S SABRE. Twisted double brass wire wrap to the white celluloid grip. Ornate brass hilt fittings with a lion's head pommel. Partially oval shaped spring swiveled front and rear guards, the front guard decorated with a fouled anchor design. The underside of the centre of the guard is marked with a navy ordnance stamp. The small folding rear guard has a hole which fits over the brass scabbard securing lug. The rear guard is stamped with a property control number, "0.836" (Ostsee 836) and there is a matching number stamped on the reverse of the upper scabbard mount. Slightly curved, pipe back blade terminating in a double edged spear point. No maker markings to the ricasso. Black leather scabbard with ornate brass fittings. Two suspension rings. The scabbard drag has a navy ordnance stamp. Light wear to the scabbard leather. A nice sabre. Licence required in Victoria. Grade II-

WW2 POLICE NCO'S SWORD (UNTERFURERDEGEN). Grooved, black painted wooden grip with an inset, convex, silvered aluminium Police insignia to the centre obverse. Wear to the black painted finish. The metal portions of the hilt are nickelled steel with a 'D' shaped guard and a chiselled ferrule with an oak leaves/acorns design. 'SS' inspection stamp on the underside of the cross guard. Wear to the nickel finish on the pommel. Straight, single edged, spear pointed blade with a single fuller. Manufacturer Dan. Krebs, Solingen and logo to reverse ricasso. White leather buffer pad present. The blade is in VGC. Black painted steel scabbard with an upper nickel plated fitting in a runic design, the adjoining scabbard throat stamped with an 'SS' inspection stamp. Single suspension ring. Only minor wear to the painted finish. Licence required in Victoria. Grade II- (P)
