1860'S LANCASTER SWORD BAYONET MARKED "G.570." Comes complete with original scabbard. The oval bore Lancaster "Sapper and miners" carbine was a unique oval bore single shot muzzle loader percussion firearm. This example is believed to be used in the Geelong area by local volunteer forces. Grips intact but with slight shrinkage commensurate with age/storage. Locking chape present and working. A historically significant local Victorian Volunteer bayonet. Grade II- (P)

POST WW2 PATTERN 1907 SWORD BAYONET BY LITHGOW DATED APRIL 1921. Evidence of period sharpening to blade. No oil hole in pommel. Scabbard is WW2 vintage with round stud. A nice bayonet. Grade II-

WWI 1918 DATED LITHGOW PRODUCED PATTERN 1907 BAYONET. Very good condition metal work throughout. Timber grips are re-placed. With one resulting in a piece being damaged from the pommel to the top screw washer. Second pattern large round stud scabbard. (C/WW2 made). Grips could be easily replaced. Grade II- (P)
