CZECH WW2 VZ30 FLARE GUN DATED 1933. Manufactured by the Czechs pre-WW2, these flare guns were also used by the occupying German forces. Has a very unusual action, with the hammer retracting back in to the frame. O/a in very nice condition. Barrel and action retain all of the factory blued finish. Hardwood grips with lanyard ring. Well marked in several areas with the Czech lion proof mark, including one next to the date, "33". Images of German soldiers using these flare guns can be readily sourced on the net. Seldom seen for sale in Australia. No licence required in Victoria. Grade II (P)
