1939-45 M1917A1 STEEL COMBAT HELMET WITH THE 1936 UPGRADE LEATHER LINER. This is the British style of combat helmet that was finally replaced in 1941 by the US designed M1 helmet. This is a fine example of the style of helmet that the US forces wore in the early years of WW2, for example as worn during the attack on Pearl Harbour. Olive drab painted outer with rough sawdust textured finish rating at approx 90%. Inner retains most of the dark olive drab painted finish showing only minor wear. Impressed in to the inner flare "ZA209". Tan leather liner assembly also showing only minor wear, mainly to the edge. Ink stamp to the liner, but difficult to decipher. Complete with the tan leather drawstring. Correct khaki canvas webbing chinstrap. Overall a fine example of an US M1917 combat helmet for display. Grade II+

1939-45 BANDSMAN'S VISOR CAP FOR AN EM. Fine quality doeskin like wool cap body, usually seen on the best officer's caps. Twin green metal ventilation grommets to each side. Some o/a moth nips, thankfully the worst of which are to the rear. Nice gilded bandsman's cap badge. Tan leather visor in very good condition. Tan leather sweat band with a hand written name to the inner 'William W. Perkins'. Oilskin sweat shield with maker's label 'The Columbia, Gem of Caps, New York, USA'. Small size. Grade II-

1950-53 Korean War US 82nd AIRBORNE PARATROOP M1 HELMET LINER. 1953 dated Westinghouse fibre liner painted in O/D. Original transfer insignia for 82nd Airborne Division to R/H/S and 504th (Devils) parachute Infantry Regiment to L/H/S. Original web liner and O/D web 'A' frame webbing with 2nd patt web chin cup. Some damage to the webbing and one arm of the 'A' frame is torn through. Displays well on a head form. Rare with divisional insignia. Grade II- (P)

Original matt O/D finish to interior. Has late war (1944) green web chinstrap. C/W WW2 fibre liner by "CAPAC." With original O/D finish. Has some web lining but missing leather sweatband & chinstrap. 1917-18 AIR SERVICE/RFC WILSON BRAND FLYING GOGGLES. Oval shaped lenses with clear safety glass lenses marked with 'W'. Red fabric eye surrounds with fur pile lining. 1939-45 OFFICER'S VISOR CAP WITH CLASSIC 'CRUSHER CAP' LOOK DATED 1942. Good quality OD wool body with green woven mohair hatband. Twin green painted metal ventilation grommets to each side. No damage or mothing to the wool. Beautiful, heavily gilded officer's cap badge. Brown leather chinstrap secured by a gilded button with the US Coat of Arms, to each side. Brown leather visor in very nice condition, firmly attached to the cap body. Leather sweatband has become detached but has been lightly glued back in place. To the reverse of the sweatband is the ink stamped details 'Cap, service, officers, mid city uniform cap company, August 11, 1942'. Also has other details such as stock number, size (6 7/8) etc. Inner cap lined with champagne coloured rayon like material. Apart from the sweatband, this cap is a superior example, ideal for display. Grade II-

1939-45 USAAF TYPE A-10A OXYGEN MASK BODY, MEDIUM SIZE WITH ATTACHMENT STRAPS. No hose. Mask in un-issued condition. Rubber is in very soft condition with dark green colour. Very mild storage crazing to some parts of the rubber. Straps in VGC. The final development of the Acushnet A-10 series introduced in Oct. 1943. A very solid mask.
