1939-45 RARE 'VICTORY SOUVENIR' COMMEMORATIVE STEEL HELMET. Consists of the standard WW2 Brodie type helmet in a light tan/sand coloured painted outer shell. Large decal to the front of the helmet features Australia to the centre with the limited edition number '7149' and the wording 'Victory 1946 Souvenir'. Soldier, sailor, airman and nurse to either side of the central decal. Decal rates at approx. 80%. Some overall scratches and minor paint loss to the shell. Steel grey painted inner shell with standard issue WW2 liner and chinstrap. A very nice example of a sort after collector's item in very good condition when compared with other examples seen. 1914-18 AFC/RFC/RNAS FLYING GOGGLES MASK. Brown leather mask with rabbit fur lining, metal eye frames with triplex style lenses. Glass is clear with slight de-lamination on edges only.
