Germany: WW2 EXCEPTIONALLY LARGE SIZE PAIR OF LUFTWAFFE STRAIGHT LEG PANTS. Superb condition officer grade private purchase trousers. Made of the highest quality wool material. The only visible damage or mothing is one nip to the waistline where the belt would be worn. Only the slightest signs of wear to the inside, some sweat stains to the pockets and paint loss to the buttons that secure the trousers to suspenders etc. 7 button and 1 hook and clasp closure to the fly. All other buttons present and matching. Partial rayon lining to the inner around the fly, crotch and waistline. They measure approx 117cm in length (from top of the waist to the end of the trouser leg) and 82cm from the crotch to the end of the trouser leg. They are approx. 105- 110cm around the waist (size 42-44 inch waist). These trousers would quite easily fit on most modern mannequins or fit the larger re enactor. Straight leg pants are especially difficult to come by as many were worn post war due to clothing shortages. Very rare in this condition and large size. Grade II (P)

Germany: WW2 EXTREMELY RARE LUFTWAFFE SUMMER WEIGHT CHANNEL PANTS FOR MEDITERRANEAN USE. Manufactured from the same 'salt and pepper' pattern material as the one-piece suits that were made famous in the 'Battle of Britain'. These pants are particularly difficult to obtain and rarely seen on the market. This example shows heavy wear and some staining )possibly from oil). They have a genuine 'combat worn' appearance and shows several tears, period field repairs and modifications. All zippers are present and in operational condition. External pocket for a flare gun. Originally the pants may have had another external pocket to each leg, possibly removed by the wearer, as was often done, to prevent them being caught up on the aircraft when bailing out etc. It is unlikely that we will see another pair for sale any time soon. Grade II-
