1914 Cameroon Expeditionary Force use of PPC with River view from Duala & 'English Forces preparing embarkment to attack the port of Duala Cameroon' with long message in French, both sent under cover. Also German local force exercises PPC used 'On Active Service' stampless with 'Duala 12 11 15' cds to England. Finally British Expeditionary Forces card from Manchester converted to French use to a Private in Lagos, redirected to Duala, then to France with Manchester, Duala, Lagos & London cds.
