1896-97 Arms Specialised collection of re-entries & retouches with SG 29-35 scroll behind legs die I unshaded Lion 1d, 2d (6), 3d (37, inc blk of 30), 4d, 6d, 8d (21, inc M & U blks of 4) & 1/- (2). Then SG 41-9 die II shaded Lion ½d (27, inc blks), 1d blk of 30 with margins 3 sides, 2d (4), 4d (11), 6d (16) & 5/- (2). Finally 1897 ribbon between legs SG 66-73 inc ½d (8), 1d (2), 2d (10), 3d (21), 4d (6), 6d (29, inc M blk of 18 & U blks of 4 & 10), 8d (23, inc 3 U blks of 4) & £1 (3 F/C-perfin). The last issue only 3 varieties written up so far with the remaining 100 still to study. Earlier issues extensively written up with marked enlargements, plate number, position & description of variety, blks of 4 or more throughout. VF M/MUH/U. 1917 'Half Penny' opt KGV Admiral 1d rose-carmine, error opt INVERTED, plus variety 'spaced n y'. VF fresh MUH, nice never hinged original gum. SG 280ac cat £1200+ for normal inverted M, should be at least double, £2400+ MUH, plus the variety on non inverted is x3, thus inverted with variety would be £8200+. Only total of 120 printed, so only 18 with variety. Copy of 2007 BPA photo cert of strip of 3 it came from, while diff new certificate can be obtained on request. (P)

Scattered Northern inc QEII Revenue 'R' opts to 1/- inc M or U blks of 4. Southern inc 1931 KGV (50+) to 5/-, 1935 Jubilee & 1937 Coronation sets, 1937 KGVI to 1/-, 1940-64 comp inc 1953 Def set to £1 (£110) & 1964 Defs to £1, plus Arms Revenues to 10/-. 1965-78 Specialised collection written up on pages near comp inc rare 1965 Loyalists propaganda M/Sheets, inscribed illegal Independence, 1966 opt set inc blks of 4, new 1966 Def set to £1 both Harrison & Mardon printings & all later commem & defs sets, 1972 Rhophil M/S sets of 3 perf through all margins or only some margins (4 diff sets). Throughout has lots of diff plate number & imprint blks of inc 1974 defs white & cream papers with 4 plate blks for ea value to $1, 1978 Defs set to $2 multiple plate blk sets & 1970 Postage Due blks. Postage Due covers 1965-67 nicely written up, to GB which did not recognise independent Rhodesia, so all taxed with range of diff Postage Due frankings inc 1965 Independence 2/6 FDC with GB 2/6 Due, another 2/6 Independence with Sthn Rhodesia 1/3 Def which at this time was recognised so not taxed, another reg FDC reg FDC taxed with Dues 1/- pr + 3d, 1966 framed 1d-4d Pics & 1d to 1/- opts to 1/- with boxed 'Invalid Stamps Used' cachet - but no Dues affixed, 1966 use of pictorial 'Signing the Declaration of Independence' cover with the 2/6 & Dues 1/- +3d, then some Independence opts on Sthn Rhodesia with Dues 3d pr, 1/- +6d, 6d+3d, then use of 1970 Def again with range of Dues 4d, 5d blk of 4 on aerogram, 1/- +2d (5), 8d (2)+6d, 1/- +5d+4d, 2/6+6d (2). Also 1970 2 covers to Jersey with local Dues 1/- +3d (3), or 1/- +3d (3)+1d, plus 1965 2/6 FDC to Malawi with Pic 4d pr used as Dues & 1970 to India with 'DUE' h/s endorsed Rs2/10.
